With this covid among us we can see the loss of basically all live events. Causing uproar amongst forums who demand more than a credit for a next concert but their full money back. Personally I wasn't supposed to go to any concerts but have friends on both sides. Some took it worse than others and are infuriated that their credits might mean they won’t see their intended band while others are just happy to have another event to attend after this is all over in place of the one they missed. During these times we see giant companies such as spottily telling their employees to work from home and many artists making music videos from the comforts of their lavish homes. Furthermore despite Covid this has been the year where my friends and I have attended the most international musical festivals. Of course by this I’m talking about the emergence of a number of Festivals offering public streaming of artist’s sets or offering invite access via email subscription. Although the live events side may take months or even years to recover and may possibly never be the same these online events have led to an increase in merch sales for these artist as well as virtual merch for some artist who have integrated with video games such as Fortnite and who would’ve known that one day people would be attending a Travis Scott concert through Fortnite.
